Do You Assume a Pose

When I am with people that I am not friends with, I act a lot differently. I do not talk as much or act like my true self when i'm around different people. I am pretty much quiet most of the time when i'm not with my friends and kind of stand back. I probably do this because if i do not like the people i'm with I won't talk to them. When I meet new people however I am never quiet. I always step right in and introduce myself. Once I become farmiliar with the person my personality changes back to the real me. I show my true self to my friends and talk a lot. I act like I normaly do out of school and don't act like a person that i'm not. I show my true self to my friends because they act the same as me. Unlike when i'm with people I do not like, I am always like a leader with my friends. I think it's easier to be yourself with friends because they will never judge you. I can also show my true self to my parents because I have nothing to hide. It's important to be yourself because if you can't your just a poser. If you can't be yourself then there is no point in living.
