People have many poses depending on who they are with. I am pretty sure that it is safe to say that people have different personalities depending on the enviornment they are in. Some people may be quiet, loud, crazy, outgoing, and many more. I am one of those people who act differently depending on who they are with. For example, if I was with someone that was quiet, I'm obviously not going to be loud when I am around them.
The people that I can be my "true" self with would deffinately have to be with my cousin and my family that I live with. This is because I am comfortable with them, and the fact that I have known them my whole life. I can also be myself with my friends because we are so alike in so many ways. Being comfortable in my settings is deffinately a factor of being myself. If I felt uncomfortable, I'm obviously not going to show my "true" self. People may say that I am a quite person, but that is just because I have not known them enough to be myself.
I agree with you that people have different personalities depending on their environment. I can relate to you in several ways. For example when you say you can be your true self with your cousin and your friends because you are so much alike and your comfortable with them. I can also be my true self with my cousins and friends because we are a lot alike and I've known them for so long. People also think that I'm quiet because they havn't gotten to know me and I don't really know them well enough to be myself.
